AVIF vs JPG
AVIF is a newer, highly efficient format based on the AV1 video codec. Support is still growing, so converting to JPG or PNG maximises compatibility.
JPG (JPEG) uses lossy compression designed for photographs. It produces small files but does not support transparency — transparent areas become white.
How to convert AVIF to JPG
- Click “Choose images” and select your AVIF files.
- JPG is already selected as the output format.
- Download your JPG images.
