How to use the Image Converter
- Choose the images you want to convert.
- Select the output format.
- Download the converted files one by one or as a ZIP.
Which format should I choose?
- JPG — photos, maximum compatibility.
- PNG — logos, screenshots, anything with transparency or text.
- WebP — websites; smaller than both JPG and PNG.
Transparency
JPG cannot store transparent pixels, so transparent areas are filled with the background colour you choose (white by default).
Compare output formats before choosing
After conversion, Compare formats creates JPG, PNG and WebP copies from the same original and shows their actual file sizes, previews and direct downloads. Lossy comparisons use quality 85; PNG is lossless.
