How to use the Sign PDF
- Open a PDF and type or draw a signature.
- Add a signature, date or text to the current page.
- Drag a mark or its resize handles, or enter its percentage position, width and height. Use the mark list to review other pages.
- Prepare the marked PDF, then download and review the exported copy.
Make the placement deliberate
New marks appear in the middle of the selected page. Drag to position them, use arrow keys for small movements or enter left, top, width and height percentages. Drag the side or corner handles to stretch a mark freely. Arrow keys on a focused handle resize that edge. Selecting a mark never deletes it: removal is an explicit action, with Undo available.
Visible signatures and PDF copies
The tool places an image of your signature or text onto the page content. It does not create a cryptographic certificate, verify anyone’s identity or track recipient consent. Ask the recipient what signing method they require. Your original PDF remains unchanged.
Supported documents
For predictable browser memory use, each file is limited to 40 MB and 200 pages. Merge supports up to 20 files, 80 MB combined and 300 assembled pages. Encrypted PDFs and interactive forms are not supported; use an unlocked, flattened copy. The tools copy page content rather than screenshotting it. Bookmarks, interactive form behavior and existing digital signature validation are not preserved.
