How to use the Image Resizer
- Add your images.
- Enter the new width and/or height, or a percentage.
- Download the resized images.
Keep the aspect ratio
With “Keep aspect ratio” on, enter only a width or only a height and the other side is calculated so the image is not stretched. If you enter both, the image is scaled to fit inside that box.
Common image sizes
| Use | Size (px) |
|---|---|
| Instagram post | 1080 × 1080 |
| Instagram/TikTok story | 1080 × 1920 |
| Facebook & Open Graph share image | 1200 × 630 |
| X (Twitter) header | 1500 × 500 |
| YouTube thumbnail | 1280 × 720 |
| Full HD wallpaper | 1920 × 1080 |
Does upscaling add detail?
No. Making an image larger than its original size interpolates pixels and will look softer. For best results, resize down rather than up.
Create responsive image sets
Download 320, 640 and 1280 pixel WebP variants where the source resolution allows, together with an editable HTML srcset example. Smaller originals are never enlarged for the set.
Frequently asked questions
Can I resize many images at once?
Yes — drop as many as you like and download them all as a ZIP.
Will the quality drop?
Downscaling uses high-quality resampling. Choose PNG for lossless output.
